| The "Junior Musician" is me resplendent in Band uniform and
Spud, me and Dave is of my mate "Spud" Leo Murphy, a clerk in
Central Drafting Office, me, in uniform and Dave Firth who played Ralph
Rackstraw in " HMS Pinafore " in Khormaksar in 1961. Sadly,
I understand Dave died suddenly some years ago. I'm still in touch with
"Spud". The RAF Khormaksar picture was taken from the summit of Shamsan and illustrates why I'm sure the aerial photo on the site is reversed. There's also a picture of a couple of "chokidars" to keep an eye on things. |
